Setup: As diagram
10x15yds total, with each group having 3 x 5yd boxes (Adjust to suit age/ability).
3 tall cones (wickets) positioned as in diagram.
How to Play:
* Player 1 rolls a tennis ball out to a desired distance within the 3 grids. He/She then runs to retrieve the ball and roll it back to hit wickets.
* The grid you hit the wickets from, determines how many points you get.
Focus Points: (Accuracy)
*Speed to retrieve the ball - be as quick as possible to get the ball.
*Roll ball with accuracy by holding ball next to your 'pocket' with a straight arm, step into the release keeping the ball on the floor.
*Can player 2 act as wicket keeper and prevent ball going passed if wickets are missed.
Progressions:
*Throw using underarm or overarm techniques.
*Add/Reduce cones.

10x15yds total, with each group having 3 x 5yd boxes (Adjust to suit age/ability).
3 tall cones (wickets) positioned as in diagram.
How to Play:
* Players stay at each end or can follow throw and join the back of opposite line.
* Players are now trying to knock cones/wickets over.
* Hit cone = 1 point, knock cone over = 5 points.
Focus Points: (Power)
*More power equals less accuracy - find a good balance of the 2.
*When throwing overarm, non throwing arm points at target to create an imaginary line for you to throw ball down.
Progressions:
*A & B groups compete to knock all 3 cones down first.
*Reduce/Add cones.

Setup: See diagram.
How to play:
*This is an invasion game.
*Reds try to hit cones in blue zone and vice versa.
*Players are not allowed in Red/Blue zones.
Players cannot move when holding the tennis ball, so either pass to team mate or try hitting a cone in opponents area.
Focus points:
*Work as a team to create scoring opportunities.
*Retrieve the ball before other team if ball is dropped.
*How far from cones are you? Accuracy? Power? Both?
