Outlet CB to RHB
- Similar to above in terms of movement, however the RHB has more options. Either the ball is played straight down the channel, which is followed up by a pass into their 25 down the line (repeat movement from above).
- However, it is possible to bring the ball back to the CDM for a switch or to the continuation of a midfield run.

Press out wide
- Force the ball out wide and we want them to force it through the triangle or wide down the channel. Or that of them passing it back to the centre back which we have isolated.
- One of the forwards has to split the centre backs whilst the other pressurises the half back. this is done with the support of two midfielders creating a triangle.
- Other players push up and create a cover zone through which no ball should be played (condenses field)

3/4 press out wide
- Force the ball deep to wide LHB, one forward moves to pressure the far CB to cut the far transfer out. Other begins to pressure. One midfielder steps to cover line channel whilst the others condense the mid zone, so they can't outlet through there.

If they outlet through the mid
- If it breaks down and gets played centrally, everyone retreats with one forward staying high. We want to condense the mid and let them play out wide maintaining a cover zone. If it goes out wide, we all step across.

Outlet RHC through midfield
Outlet from CB to CDM
- CB passes to CDM who is receiving strong to either pass back or roll out strong to pass to the RHB.
- If roll out is an option, the RHB should move up beyond the 25 to make a square pass.
- Before this is happening the higher midfielder should be looking to move out wide ready to receive a pass from the RHB or CDM.
- The right forward should be looking to make a high lead in anticipation (as soon as the CB has passed) of this pass happening so we can pass through the channel in ideally 3-5 passes.
Movement off the ball.
- If pass to forward is successful, the other forward should be looking to be back post, the other two midfielders should have moved up to receive a 90* square pass back or pass to pen spot.
