Team training in possession, penetrating passess, and keeping shape in the attack
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Setup: 15x15 midfield; 2 teams of 4 players; 4 goals
Concept: 4v4 game. Attackers keep possession in the midfield trying to find the forward, penetrating pass to finish in the attacking third; Each team has a CB in the defending area; if ball played to CB, player rotates with CB as CB must take first touch into the midfield. Progression: CB stands behind a goal; goal is then closed to the attackers.
Coaching Points: Players must anticipate the penetrating buildup and get forward to support. Quick, bending/explosive runs to finish.

Setup: 2 halves, about 15x15 each or 25x25.
Concept: 6v6 or 7v7 game. ALL attackers must be in the attacking half in order for goal to count. Extra point awarded for each defender NOT in their defensive half at time of goal.
Coaching Points: Players must anticipate the penetrating buildup and get forward to support. Quick transition is the focus.
