Passing Patterns (10 mins)
Set up: 10 x 24 area split into 2 10x10 and 4 x 10 central channel. 3 groups of 4 players (adjust based on numbers)
Organization: Each group has 4-5 balls and rotates through the pattern. The final player scoring the goal, must take their touch and finish within the central channel for the goal to count. It is a competition as to which team can score all 4 balls first. It is important to stress the importance of the quality and what counts as a goal.
Coaching Points: Quality of pass (speed, back foot), movement to receive (timing, body shape), scanning/checking shoulders
