Organization:
1. Set up as shown (40x40yds)
2. Two teams of 5 players with 4 neutrals
3. Plenty of balls.
Instructions:
1. Two teams of 5 players playing 9v5 with 4 neutrals
2. Blue Team plays vs Red Team. Grey is neutral.
3. If Red wins possession of the ball they use GREY to maintain possession while expanding their position as target players in zones/boxes shown.
4. When blue/grey loses possession, Blue must counter-press inside.
Scoring:
10 Passes - 1 point
Win posession and complete 2 passes - 3 points.
Coaching Points:
1: Pressing: when we have #'s around the ball. 1st defender presses and forces play to defensive numbers. Supporting players close passing lanes. Entire group needs to be focus on roles and ability to kill the options and minimize space & time 1st attacker has.
2: Organize: when numbers are scattered around the field. Regain defensive shape and channel play into tight areas while looking for opportunity to close down the player on the ball.
3. Speed of transition: IMPULSE TO WIN THE BALL BACK.

Instructions:
1. Fast paced 2v2 into 4v2, into 4v4.
Coaching points:
1. Ability to attack space as 1st attacker.
2. 2nd attacker looks to make run to drag 2nd defender or create passing lane.
3. Speed of transition and ability to play forward is key.

Instructions:
1. Grey has 6 players vs Red 4 defenders in middle third and 3 defender/Gk in back third.
2. Grey looks to complete 10 passes to receive a point.
3. When grey loses possession they quickly counter press the red. Red players look to score on counter goal (4 seconds to win ball back)
4. Grey looks to transition to large goal 5v3 to goal.
Coaching Points:
1: Pressing: when we have #'s around the ball. 1st defender presses and forces play to defensive numbers. Supporting players close passing lanes. Entire group needs to be focus on roles and ability to kill the options and minimize space & time 1st attacker has.
2. Speed of Defensive Transition: IMPULSE TO WIN THE BALL BACK.
3. In Attacking Transition: Find futhermost pass early. IMPULSE to make attacking runs when possession is won.
