II. SMALL-SIDED ACTIVITY

Field is divided in to thirds with 4v2 at each end and two players in the Middle. The Red team must switch through the middle box to the blue teams box. If the switch is made the two yellow players must move from the middle box in to the Blue's box and try and steal the ball from blue. when the two middle player move into the Blue's box the two Yellow from the Red's box must move into the Middle. If yellow steals the ball or blocks the switch they switch positions with the team they stole the ball from.
Progression 1. Red and Blue are on three touches.

III. EXPANDED ACTIVITY

Game is played from 18yrd box to 18yrd box and is the full width of the field. The game is played with 6 out field players and 1 GK each. The aim of the game is to dribble through one of the opponents 3 goals. The GK must stay be hind the goals but can defend and pass the ball to their team if they win the ball.
Progression 1. players can use only two touches
Progression 2. players must switch from one side of the field to the other before they can score.

IV. GAME

ORGANIZATION (Physical Environment Full field / Equipment cones to divide field / Players 22)
11v11 with the field divided into 3 sections. In the wide area the yellow play 3v2 and in the middle yellow play 4v6. Players must stay in their zone and can not move into other zones. Yellow must get the ball in all 3 zones before they are free to score. After the Yellow has had the ball in all three zones the players can now move out of their zone to attack the ball. Red team must always stay in thier respected zones no matter what.
Progression 1. remove the wide areas and have free play.

Two Groups of fiver players. The players spread out around the four Boxes. The box with two of the same players in starts the drill by passing. The player passes to the opposite box and follows the pass. Progression 1, Switch the Direction of the passing. Progression 2, Two touches, one touch is to recive and the second is to pass the ball. Progression 3, Two players in the middle, player passes the ball out of the box to middle player who turns and switches the ball to the other side. Player who pass to the middle player then runs to the next box.
