Football/Soccer Session (Beginner): Llantwit Major JFC U14s 1v1 Retaining possession as a individual (Start Time: 2025-01-21 16:05:00)

1v1 retaining possession as a individual warm up

1v1 Warm up Area 7x7yard boxes

• Bib player two different colours( Blue & yellow)
• Players grouped into pairs(1 Blue 1 Yellow per box with 1 ball per pair only 1 player has the ball)
• Each pair will play 1v1 shielding battle (any spare players can join 1v1v1)
• Players out of possession try to win the ball or force opponent out of the box to score 1 point
• Switch roles after 1 min after both players have had possession ask one colour team to find a different partner in another box within 10 secs the team that moves will start as out of possession player in the next round the ball always remains with players that dont move boxes( example if blue bibbed players are asked to move they must find a new yellow bib player to play against within 10 secs)

Keep the ball on the safe side

Keep the ball moving

Quick change of direction

Keep ball under control
