1st touch/Getting out of pressure:
4 players per group - passer, receiver, 2 defenders
4 gates
Passer plays the ball into receiver, who is going to try to dribble through one of the four gates. Receivers must take a good 1st touch and use skills, turns, etc.. to get through a gate.
As soon as the receiver takes their first touch, the 2 defenders can enter and try to steal the ball. If a defender steals the ball, they dribble outside of the playing area.
Rotate players every 3-4 minutes.

If time, small sided scrimmages to end. Focus on 1st touch and getting out of pressure using skills, turns, etc..

1st touch drill - one player inside the square receiving, one player outside the square passing (if groups of 3 have an extra player outside the square on opposite side of the passer).
Passer will pass the ball into the square, receiver will receive with their laces and dribble forward, giving the ball back to the passer. Next, they will receive with their laces but exit the right side of the square, then pass the ball back. Next, they will receive with their laces and exit the left side of the square. Then, they will receive with their laces and perform a turn, exiting the back of the square. Players then switch roles.
After 3-4 minutes, switch to receiving with inside of the foot. Then switch to exiting the square with the first touch. Can also add skill moves/turns to exit the square (L-turn, V-cut, Cruyff turn, etc..)
