Carry ball open stick through cones
Focus on:
- ball in front
- head up
- stick in contact with ball, behind ball
- hands in front of body
Reverse stick sweep pass back to group
Variations
1. normal
2. race with another group
exercise 2
2 v 1 with cones to mark defensive reach
Focus on:
- correct ball carrying position
- engage defender
- early decison re. pass or eliminate
- accurate execution of skill
Variations:
1. passive defender
2. active defender within cones
3. active defender no cones
