Thomas Gronnemark Throw in 4 - Return pass, best angle
This drill is exactly the same as the previous drill (Left / Right Cut Defence), it just introduces a a best angle to move into after returning the pass
Player 1 runs out to the red cone and then cuts left or right requesting the throw in from the next player in the line
The yellow cones do not need to be there. They are just indications to show the cut needs to be to the left or the right
Again practicing a precise throw to feet and receiving a pass back
This time, after returning the pass, where is the best angle to offer a return ball if the defender presses the thrower?
Often the best angle is to the drop off the side the throw in was received.
this can lead to opening up the play for the thrower to make a run down the line
