Method: 40 X 35M 5 x 5 Min 1.5 Min rest
Coaching Points:
In an area of 40×35 meters, two teams of 6 play against each other plus the use of four extra men. Two of them are positioned on each side of one goal and the other two on each side of the opposite goal. They can only play one-touch passes to the attacking players. The objective of the drill is to have them play against each other to work on their defending and attacking and to see which team is able to score more goals. As the drill is carried out in a reduced space, teams on both sides of the ball will be able to develop more attacking and defending plays. As the coach, you can decide to use the offside rule if you´d like and to adjust the spacing of the pitch according to the objectives you are trying to work on.
