Warm Up - Dynamic Movement with ball

12-14 Players - 4 coaches

Set up: 2 main grids (20x20) + outside area

Equipment: Cones/Hurdles/Poles/Ladders/Balls

1. Outside grid for jogging/hurdles/ladder/poles: use whole group:

Begin with gentle jog around outside of grids (twice) followed by use of ladder/hurdles/poles - 5mins

2. Dynamic Stretching 2mins

3. Warm up Main:Split group into 2 teams (6/7 each depending on numbers)

4. Grid 1: Multi Directional Ball Movement warm up - Dribbing/turning/left&right foot/juggling/squats onto ball: 5mins

Grid 2: Passing and moving: 1 and 2 touch using cones as markers - using 1 & 2 then 2 balls..1 coach instructing outside each grid..i will supervise/observe

5. Rotate teams so they complete both functional warm ups

Focus on dynamic movement and warm up of muscles..

Finish on stretching if needed before going into main parts of session

Total duration 15-20mins max
