Organization:
- 8v8 + GK
- 2 target goals 1 large goals
- Multiple balls with coach/keeper
Roles:
- Green: Defending
- Red: Attacking
Activity:
- Ball is played for GK always.
- Reds look to progress forward, with 1 point awarded for scoring in either of the 3 small nets. 2pts are awarded for dribbling into the shaded zones
- If defending team recovers the ball. can they look to score quick. 1 point for goal inside 18. 2 points for goal from outside 18.
progressions:
- Defending team must press from live ball/
- Defending team sit in a mid/low block.
- Only score within 7 seconds.
- Attacking team - can they score within 3-4 passes? 3pts awarded
What are our objectives:
- Can we play forward, early and with purpose
- can we create secondary movement to unsettle defense to create forward play.
- quick movement of ball to get to areas of attacking space.
