Line A: Hurdles (Jumps 2 leg, forward & back, sideways, single foot) - Speed Ladder (High Knees, quick feet, forward shuffles, reverse shuffles) - Around flag & Sprint back to start line - 10 crunches/5 push ups - Restart

Line B: Hurdles (Jumps 2 leg, forward & back, sideways, single foot) - Staggerd sprints - Around flag & sprint back to start line - 15 jumping lunges - Restart

Line C: Sprints along long side, slow jogging along wide sides

Side Moves (10 mins)

Objective Improve side moves and ball protection

Organization - A Passes forward to B . B Dribbles to cone D makes a turn under passive pressure by players C coming accross , Player A provides passive pressure to Player making the second side move

Coaching Points

- Movement to open up to receive on the back foot

- Visual checking

- Ball protection by placing the body in between the ball and opponent

- Arm out and get low

- Keep ball away from opponent as far as possible

Passing & Receiving with shooting (20 mins)

Objective

Organization

Balls set on the left side of the goal. 3 sets of gates 10 yards apart, a player in each gate. Passing pattern A - D, D receives and shoots across the keeper.

Coaching Points

Check out, check in and get in line with the flight of the ball

Quaility of passes (weight, accuracy and timing)

Lock ankle, strike through the middle of the ball with you weight forward.

Positives first touch towards your target (out of your feet)

Shooting - Assess the goalkeepers position

The final touch will set up the shot

Shot low across the goalkeeper to the far post

Lock your ankle

Strike through the middle of the ball with your instep and land on your kicking foot.

3v3 +3 Possession (15 mins)

Objective

To impove teams ability to keep possession of the ball

Organization

20x20 area with a triangle and each end

3 oranges work with the black team in order to keep possession. Orange players A & B are restricted within their zones, the shape of the zones should help them creating angels of support. Blue team is defending. If the blue team win possession of the ball they transition to the outside of the area and the black team become defenders.

Objective

To improve team abilty to play out from the back

Organization

Set up as shown above (2 teams playing at once)

The goalkeeper starts ball plays to either the 3 or 2, they follow a pattern of play and finish in the other goal. The ball restarts with the keeper again.
