Organization: Make an area about 20 x 20. 5 players in each box.
Instructions: One player will start in the middle (Player A) will pass to player B. Player B will play it back to player A and player A will pass it in betwen player B and player C. Player B will now pass is to player C. Player C wil pass the ball back to player B, player B will pass into space between player C and player D , continue pattern.
Coaching Points: Good tempo. Play feet first pass, play space second time, make sure players are timing thier runs to receive the ball in space. Make sure players are checking in when receiving pass, and taking good touch towards other player when receiving.
Progressions: Limit the amount of touches. ( 3 touch, 2 touch)

Organization: You need at least 6 players for this exercise. Place down cones in a star shape. A, B and C cones should be the furthest from each other making a triangle. D will be in betwwen cone A and B. E will be placed between B and C.
Instructions: Players need to follow the pattern and follow thier pass. Player A will pass ball to player B and follow his pass and take player B spot. Player B will pass to player C and will follow his pass and take player C spot. Player C will pass to player D and take his spot. Player D will pass to player E and take his spot. Playre E passes to player A and the pattern will continue.
Coaching Points: Make sure players are following their pass with pace. Communicaion is key! if players are confused talking and body language will help them figure it out. Allow players to figure out the passing pattern. Encourage good touches, and taking their time if they are struggling.
Progressions: Add another ball ( really will increase difficulty). Only add if they can do one ball.

Organization: Split team into two groups. One group will defend for 7-10 minutes. Other group will attack.
Instructions: Defending player will pass the ball into offense and then the ball is live. 2 v 1. Keep score and make it competetive for the players.
Coaching Points: Good touches, aggressiveness, movement without the ball. At least one pass mut be done before scoring. Make sure players on onside.
Progressions: Increase number of passing in the offense. Add another defender. 2 v 2

Organization: Split into four teams. Each team plays each other once. Every game should be about 3-4 minutes. Let teams keep record of goals and wins/losses.

Coaching Points: Look for movement withouth the ball, communication, checking in, wall passes, encourage high tempo and intesnsity.

Warm up
Organization: Lay down 5 cones making the last cone further away from the rest. The first 4 cones should be about 1 -2 feet away from the next. Last cone should be 5 yards away from the 4th cone
Instructions: Players will put one foot in each, after the fourth cone, they will sprint to the last cone and get back online. After each player has gone 4 times, switch up footwork, both feet in between cones, moving side to side , high knees, jumping up for headers, in and out the cones, etc
Coaching Points: High tempo, good technique, good pace and intensity.
