Progression - 1 Combo
This time 1 plays to 2, 2 checks the ball back and 1 plays a long ball to 3. Experiment with different pass styles (driven, chipped, floated).
Same rotation as before, 1 goes to 2, 2 goes to 3.

Progression 2 - 2 Combo's
1 plays into 2, 2 checks the ball back to 1, 1 plays a long ball into 3, 2 goes and checks to 3 and plays a give and go out wide
Same rotation as earlier.
CP's:
- Keep re-inforcing the earlier points
- Keep the combo's nice and tight
- Supporting angle of the combo

Progression 3 - Combo and Overlaps
Number 3's now get a rest whilst 1 and 2 work. 2 will perform the overlap around 3 and dribble back to the start. Rotate players after 2 minutes.
You can even keep both combo's in once they get it.

Setup: 6 cones, 6 players on a cone each, extra players fill the bottom cones. Extra players all have balls, you may want to start with just one ball until they get the hang of it.
Sequence: 1 passes into 2, 2 passes into 3. 3 Dribbles to the back of the line. Both sides go at the same time. Follow your pass.
CPs:
- Keep the ball moving (positive first touch in the direction you want to go)
- Body shape of #2 (open up, see both options)
- Speed of play
- #2 checks in checks out
- Quality of pass
- Timing of pass
