Organization:
-Create a 30 x 30 yard area. Play 3 vs. 3 or 4 vs. 4 depending on numbers. If uneven numbers use a neutral player. Create two triangle goals within the area.
Activity
-Both teams compete for possession of the ball and to score by passing the ball through the triangle. You can designate a goal for each team, then progress to scoring on either goal. To finish, once you score on one goal you must score on the other goal. Play to points or time
Coaching Points:
- Create space off the ball
- Emphasize supporting shape and balance in possession
- Change the rhythm to exploit opportunities to score
- Decision making and the speed of play
- Movement and timing of second - and third-man runs

Organization:
Create a 40 x 40 yard grid and divide the area in half. Players are restricted to 2 vs. 2 in each area. Each team has four target players outside the grid
Activity
The players possess the ball. They score by utilizing an outside target player. To score again, the ball must first be played to the other side of the grid. Target players do not enter the grid and cannot defend the other target player. Targets can move freely along the line. Play to points, time, etc.
Coaching Points:
- Create space by moving off the ball
- Quality passing both long and short
- Support play with proper angles and distances
- Recieving and turning under pressure
- Quick and appropriate decision

Organization:
Create a 44 x 36 yard grid. Play 5 vs. 5 in the middle with two goalkeepers. Have four neutral players - two on each side
Activity
Regular rules of soccer. Teams play for possession and attack the goal when possible. Target players can only be used to maintain possession or to create space in the attack. Play to points or time. Rotate targets
Coaching Points:
- Create space with appropriate movement, timing and angles
- Play the way you are facing
- Change the point of attack to reate space
- Disguise and deception of passes and runs is important second - and third-man runs is important

4 vs 1 with Triangle Goal (15 mins)
Organization:
Create grids that are 15 x 15 yards. Create a triangle in each grid with corner flags or cones. Within the area, four attacking players and one defender.
Activity
The four attacking players attempt tp maintain possession while looking to score goals by passing through the middle triangle to teammates. The defender is NOT allowed inside the triangle and defends by working outside the triangle. Play to points or time. Rotate players
Coaching Points:
- Maintain balance and angles of support
- Emphasize vision and awareness off the ball
- Use proper verbal and visual communication
- Appropriate technique while passong and recieving the ball
- Speed of play and decision making
