Organization:
- Players will be given the choice of space they would like to use for the activity.
- Each player will have their own ball, less 3 that will have a cone in hand instead
Activity:
- Players with a ball will dribble anywhere they would like to in the space they have chosen.
- Players with a cone will look to move around the area and throw their cone at the ball of one of the dribblers
- Should the player with the cone hit the ball of the dribbler they will exchange spots and the person with the ball will take the cone.
- Each round of the game will last 60 seconds with the aim being not having the cone at the end of the activity
- At the end of each round players will be asked if they believe the space is the correct level of challenge and if not how can we change it in order to provide a better level.
Coaching Questions:
- What sort of touches are we looking for in this scenario, and why?
- Does this game relate back to what we did in the tag games?
- If possible when being closed down what do we want to place between the defender and the ball?
- What should we be looking for as we dribble around the space?
- What 2 changes may help us in this game?

Organization:
- Players will be split in to two groups of 5/6
- Each group will be given a square of 8x8 in size
- Defenders will begin on the outside lines of the square without a ball and attackers will begin on the inside of the square with a ball
Activity:
- The player in the centre of the square will attempt to exit the square by dribbling past one of the players on the outside lines of the square
- If the player manages the exit the square in control of the ball they gain a point
- If the player on the outside of the square wins the ball they then get the chance to be the central player attempting to get out of the square
Coaching Questions:
- Which type of touches would we need in this scenario?
- How can you use your body in order to move your opponent?
- What two changes might we use to get out of the box?
- Where on the field might we find ourselves in this situation?

Organization:
- 8-10 gates 2 yards in width will be placed around the outside of the penalty area
- Players will be in pairs of their choice
- One player will have a ball and the other will not
- If an uneven number their will be a group of 3 with 1 player with a ball and 2 without.
- The player with the ball will start in the 6 yard box
- The player(s) without will start on the outside of the penalty area
Activity:
- The player with the ball will start the activity by stepping outside of the 6 yard box with the ball
- As soon as the attacker steps outside the penalty area the player without the ball will attempt to prevent them going through any of the gates while also attempting to win the ball back.
- If the attacker dribbles through a gate under control they get the point
- If the attacker wins the ball, roles reverse and they are looking to get through the gate to earn a point.
- After every go players will switch roles
Coaching Questions:
- Why does having so many gates make it easier?
- If the defender closes down one gate what might you do?
- To keep the ball safe what will you place between defender and ball?
- What two changes might you use to be successful?

Organisation:
- Players will play a 6v6 game in the penalty area with three gates placed at end of the area
- Following the first few minutes of the activity players will be given the opportunity to adjust the size of the area should they see fit.
Activity:
- 6v6 game focused providing the opportunity for players to employ the skills developed during the session
Coaching Points:
- Did we recognize how the skills we looked to develop in the session were used in the game?
- Did anyone use the skills we developed in the game?

Organization:
- All players will gather in the 18 yard box of the field
- No balls are needed
Activity: The players will work through a selection of tag games that highlight key principles of beating an opponent in a 1v1 scenario.
Tunnel Tag
- 3 Players will be selected as the taggers with the remaining players aiming to stay away from the taggers for as long as possible.
- If tagged a player will make a tunnel by placing their hands and feet on the ground and then arching their back to create a tunnel beneath them.
- To release a player back in to the game a team mate is required to crawl through the tunnel. Players cannot be tagged while they are going through the tunnel or being saved.
Toilet Tag
- 3 Players will be selected as the taggers with the remaining players aiming to stay away from the taggers for as long as possible.
- If tagged a player will get in to a squatted position with their hand out. In order to be back in the game a team mate must come over flush the toilet (push the outstretched hand down) at which point the player will spin and flush before rejoining the game.
Dead Ant Tag:
- 3 Players will be selected as the taggers with the remaining players aiming to stay away from the taggers for as long as possible.
- If tagged a player will lie on their back with feet and hands in the air. To be released back in to the game a different player must tag feet and hands separately.
Coaching Questions:
- How do we avoid defenders?
- How does this relate to a game?
- What are the two changes that make it difficult for defenders?
- What are we looking for as we move around then area?
