What: Gates is a possession game where the team in position attempts to score by passing and receiving through one of the several gates in a specfied area. General Rule of Thumb is to have one or two gates more than the number of players on a team (6 v 6 = 8 gates).
In any game with multiple gates to score through, the gates should be wide enough to prevent the defenders from a standing in the goals to defend. The idea is to incentivize the defenders to step to the ball to defend.
This is a Stage 2 activity.

Where: middle third of the field.
