Practice organisation
• Area Half pitch with coned off from edge of area to half way line, Make a channel down the
Side off pitch which attacking, Server plays ball to FB, on FB first touch Defending team has to stop the attacking team from entering their area using their own FB and WMF.
• 10 players (incl. target - server) 1 ball.• Off-side applies in each attacking third.
• Practice starts with Server feeds ball into FB.
• Defending team aim is to stop Attacking team from using wide play, overlaps, crossing runs into box.
• Defending team sends one or two D’s in response to attacking team.
• Defending team will score points on winning ball back, points depending on what gate the ball arrives through, 1 being nearer their area, 3 point higher up the pitch. If they can play the ball to the Server, a bonus point rewarded, if they can run ball through gate creating a counter an extra 3 points.
• Attacking team Award 3 points to opponents if goal is scored from a cross and 1 point if goal is scored from central attack.
• Play stops when defending team wins ball and get to a team mate outside of zone or server.
