Organization:
-two cones ( one tall cone and one disk cone) per player
- tall cone in the middle with disk cone 5-7 yards apart
- player with ball at their foot
Instructions:
Player starts with ball then dribbles to inside of circle. While inside of the circle, have players use a change of direction skill to move the ball outside of the circle and to restart the cycle.
Coaching Points:
Remind players not to just go through the actions. Dribble A should be a recovery run and after doing skill B, they should explode on dribble C then when they turn the corner, they can restart the activity with a recovery run.

Organization: 3 v 1 with two supporting players
Instructions:
Players A have to connect passes together while supporting each other and making passes to the feet. To earn a point, you have to change direction with a skill and play the ball (within two passes) to the outside players (C)
Coaching Points:
Keep head up and movement on and off the ball. Get passes to feet and remind players C that they should always be moving to support the ball and players

Figure eight (5 mins)
Organization:
-Two cones per player
- each player needs a ball at their feet
-cones will be 7-10 steps apart
Instructions:
Dribble the ball through the cones in a "figure eight " pattern
-phase one: any foot you want to use ( just to warm up and get the touch down)
-phase two: right foot only
-phase three: left foot only
-phase four: rolls through the middle
Coaching Points:
phase one coaching points : use whatever part of the foot( that you are using) is close to the cone. when you do your example walk through, with the players, have them stop by the cone. This will change depending on what side of the cone they start. Once they have that mastered, have them start to work on keeping the ball under control more with their touches and having them keep it closer to the cone.
phase two/three: same coaching points as phase one
phase four: same coaching points around the cones but in the middle when they are doing the rolls remind them to always roll across their body and then have them take it with the foot that didnt roll ( lead foot)
