Working with midfield 3 - shape rotation and creativity
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organisation - 15 x 15, balls, pinnies. (2 boxes, 9 players in each)
Game - possession game - reds play with reds on the outside of the square. Outside reds can play to each other (be patient, but keep the ball moving) 3 greens defend and spoil where they can. Count passes - 7 passes = 1 point.
Keys - Central reds are to try and play between and behind, find pockets of space and try to connect the red team through the the box.
Dont get dragged to the ball all the time.
Progression - Insist on 2 touch for central players.
Progression 2 - Smaller box.
Swap player positions constantly
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization - 10m by 10m boxes - can be 4 or 6 dep on numbers
Game Play - 1v1 in each box. Simple possession game where players can pass/dribble in order to maintain possession. No more than 1 player from each team in a box. Players can move into any box but a player from the same team must vacate it. Players try to move the ball to the opposite side of the field to score.
Neutral players on the outside have 1/2/3 touches and simply play into the team that passed to them.
Keys - Players in possession must verbally and visually communicate in order to help simple rotational movement.
-speed of play, decision making, body position, play behind lines, present between/behind defenders.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organisation - As shown - Middle third slighty bigger and split ino 2 using small cones.
Game - Players must play through the thirds. MF players must have at least one person either side of the cones inorder to create a triangle - cones help with visual cues (remove when players have correct shape) As a player plays forward (must be a pass at first) into the next zone he (or a team mate from the same zone can move into the higher zone to help)
Keys -
Midfield shape.
Movement to create space. (slow down speed up/ change of direction/rotation with player in zone)
Patient build up where needed/attack fast when possible.

Organisation - As above - Balls, 4 sets of pinnies, 4 10x10 squares making a 20x20.
Game - Players in each grid number off 1-4. 4v0 passing and moving in a sequence to start. On coach command one player moves anti clockwise to create a 3v1 for 30 seconds. Defending player adds up how many times he 'touches' the ball - no need to tackle. After thirty seconds, players return to home box and pass 4v0 until coach commands. Players add up touches for all four defenders.
technical - concentrate on good ball manipulation and p&r inin tight spaces
