Organization:
- 8x8 yard grid
- 3v1 monkey in the middle
- extra balls on the side
Instructions:
- monkey tries to steal the ball
- others try to connect 5 passes
- extra round in the middle for monkey if outside players can connect given amount of passes
after 2 minutes whoever is in the middle switches grids
Coaching Points/Questions:
- pass quickly if you have the ball
- try to find open space/ passing line
- move around in grid
- heads up to scan area for options to pass the ball to

P/R: De- or increase amount of passes to connect
P/R: De or increase size of grid

Instructions:
- 1 point for scoring in goal
- 2 points for connecting 6 passes among team mates
- 5 points for connecting 12 passes among team mates

- look for open team mates in ball possesion
- try to get open if you don't have the ball

- let them rotate positions every 5 minutes, every player should play every position once.
- 2 halves a 10 minutes
Instructions:
- regular 4v4 game, no goal tending
- no sliding
- kick ins instead of throw ins
Coaching Points/Questions:
- praise great actions
- if severe mistakes happen, pull player aside and ask what he/she could have done differently
Q: When is it a good moment to pass? When to dribble?
At the end of game, gather everybody and praise each player for something she/he has done well this session. Remind them we are one team and we are all working together
Regressions/Progressions:
R: Add 2nd Pugg goal per team to make scoring easier

Organization:
- 12x16 yard grid
- players in pairs
Instructions:
- Player without the ball tries to run as far as possible away from player with the ball
- once coach whistles, player without the ball turns toward partner and opens legs. Player with the ball tries to pass the ball inbetween the partners open legs.
- 1 point if ball hits players legs
- 2 points if ball goes through (meg)
let them dribble for 10-15 seconds max - then whistle
4/6 rounds = 2/3 passes per player
player with the most points wins
then look for a new partner
Coaching Points/Questions:
- while chasing with ball at feet, try to stay close to your partner
- pass with inside of the ball, toes up
- non-kicking foot pointing at the target
- hit ball in the middle
Q: Is it easier to get points if you're close to your partner or further away?
Q: When should you look at target, when at the ball?
Regressions/Progressions:
R: no balls - play tag
P: both players have a ball - one tries to get away, other chases
