Striking the Ball - Shooting - Skill Intro (20 mins)
Pair up the players.
One pair become two defenders start 3m from a cone either side of a striker. The other pair are an attacking pair. one becomes the striker the other the passer. Only when the passer strikes the ball can the defenders take off from their mark and must go around the cone in front of them before they can chase the striker. Striker goes 1v1 with the keeper with pressure from the defenders.
- Encourage shots that are close the GK's feet.
- Encourage shots that are low rather than in the roof of the net.
