Technical Shooting part 2:
As previous but this time A has to shoot right footed and B has to shoot left footed from wide zones outside of cone (shaded areas on diagram).
Coaching Points:
1. Do they aim for far corner across keeper from wide areas?
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Shooting Skills part 1:
20x20 square. 1v1 with focus on shooting.
Coach A passes into advancing Attacker B who must beat Defender C and get a shoot off as early as possible. Defender cant tackle - only jockey and block shots.
Attacker joins the defender queue and defender joins the attacker queue.
Points available for touching away from danger, striking with laces, hitting target, striking it low across keeper towards corner. Bonus 5 points for any goal.
Coaching Points:
1. Do they show a quick positive attitude & get an early shooting opportunity?
2. Do they look to eliminate defenders with individual skill?
3. Do they force the keeper into a save by hitting the target?

Shooting Skills part 2 (progression):
As previous but now its 2v1. There are now more attacking options available (pass or dribble) but we still want to encourage positive and fast forward play and getting shots off as quickly as possible.
Coaching Points:
1. Do they get to the ball quickly and launch a quick positive attack with their first couple of touches?
2. Do they make positive/early decisions on best way to beat defender (whether to dribble or play in their partner) and get a shot off quickly?.

2. Do they strike middle of ball with laces and follow through for acuraccy & power?
3. Do they hit the target?
