Set Up
Group is divided into 4. Players positioned as in diagram. Yellow attack to the right and white attack to the left
Description:
Player 1 (white) passes to player 2. Once the pass is in play 4 (yellow) can defend 1v1. After 3 passes to 4 and 1 defends. Switch sides after each go.
Coaching Points

Description:
As in previous exercise 1 passes to 2 and 2 attacks. This time however the pressure is coming from 4 who is a recovering defender. The play then restarts with 3 passing to 4 and 2 defending. Swap sides after each go.

Technique in first touch (Can attacker take first touch in front of defender to deny the defender space, time and opportunity to steal and/or recover

Description:
2v1. 1 Passes to 2 and 4 defends in a 2v1 situation. White attacks for 2-3 minutes and then switches with yellow.
Progression B:
2v2. As in previous exercise however 3 now joins in as a new defender making a 2v2 situation. White attacks for 2-3 minutes and then switches with yellow.

Set up:
6v6 scrimmage with 4 gates on the field (see diagram for placement)
Organization:
Group selected in 2 teams. 1 goalkeeper and 5 field players. Group can not score until they have passed or dribbled though one of the four gates.
Coaching Points:
Decision Making: When to possess and when to penetrate, when to pass, dribble, turn, shield and shoot
Attacking Principles to create space: (Width, Depth, height etc)
Movement off the ball to draw defenders
