Sharks and Minnows with Target Zones (30 mins)
Sharks and minnows with target zones:
Every player with a ball, on coach's signal players try to dribble to other side of the field without getting caught by the coach. Players are safe when they stop their ball in one of the target zones. If their ball runs out the back of the zone the player is out and they join the coach as a shark. This should encourage players to arrive with the ball in their zone.
Emphasise not using speed to beat the shark but keeping the ball close and using footwork and change of direction to move into the space behind it.
