Functional practise - Match day combinations
Description: A simple bounce pass sequence to get warmed up and focused, game related sequnce with a deep man option, square option
Players, key points:
1) Concentrarion & communication - Give good information
2) Movement - 3 yard checks before you recieve & sprint to your next position
3) Quality of pass - W , T , D , A
4) Tempo - Play off 1 touch if you can, or a fast 2

Functional practise - Good wing play:
Description: Teams are split evenly with two neutral wingers on either flank.
Teams can score by making 6 consecutive passes and 2 goals by finishing first time in the small goal. This exercise is designed to open up play to either flank and keeping possession in the defensive third
Players, key points:
1) Quality of passing: W, D , T , A
2) Patience - No need to force the football forwar, keep ad switch
3) Switching play - When we drag opposition players over, create a better attacking channel
4) Over loads - Create them and exploit quickly

Functional practise - Finishing on the turn
Description: Players are aligned evenly on both sides with a player in the middle who will be shooting, players are looking to turn on one touch and finish. 3 types of finishes :
1) Far post (curl)
2) Across the keeper (instep)
3) 1v1
Players, key points:
1) Quality of pass - W , T , D , A
2) First touch - Half a yard in front (Shift and hit)
3) Contact - Hit the football firm & on the right part

Conditions:
1) Neutral wingers Have 1 free touch then can be tackled, can only recieve a football in their channel
2) No two passes in the shaded zone.
3) 6 passes is a goal
