Instructions:
Players in groups of four with a ball each. Player one drives at the cone and performs a move before going past it. The next player does the same upon making eye contact with the dribbler once they have performed their move. Process repeats.
Coaching Points:
- Messi touches before goal
- Timing of move - distance between you and goal
- Use of body to perform feint
- Eyes up quickly (connect with teammate)
- Accelerate to endline - Bigger touch
- Roll vs Roll Step
- Entry : Small touches to steady pace
Bend knees - chest down - low center of gravity
Head up quickly before the goal
- Execution : Open hips to sell pass - also use head and eyes to sell move
Bottom of foot to roll across body
- Exit : Use opposite foot to take exit touch around defender

Instructions:
Defender plays ball across to attacker
Attacker looks to dribble past defender and score by dribbling through the blue gate or passing into mini goal.
(Player recieves two points by using roll, roll step or roll cut) - Optional
If defender wins the ball they can transition and score in the counter goals the same way.
Coaching Points:
- Ball under control upon approach
- Head up to observe defender (timing)
- Use of moves to unbalance defender
- Can you sell the pass with your eye, head and hips to move/ freeze the defender then execute the roll to beat the defender.
- Bigger touch to beat the defender
- What if - Roll step to unablance defender - if first roll doesnt work

- Three lines of attack (Width, Depth, Length)
- Penetration as option one (Shot, pass, dribble)
- Possession as option two
- Angles of support (Can you make a triangle?)
- Distance of support (Can you make the triangle as big as possible?)
- Timing of support (as ball travels)
- Speed of thought and movement in transition
- Correct moment to apply the session topic

Instructions:
Team A begins as the attackers, team B as the defenders. Players are live when attacker takes their first step. A must run to the blue disc and is then looking to score by running through either yellow gate, B is looking to tag them. Play for 90 seconds, and then switch lines. Play a 2 round competition.
Coaching Points:
- Head up to see the defender's position
- Decision - go straight to goal if ahead of defender, use of body to unbalance opponent if they are infront of you
- Change of pace to get past defender after fake
- Body Mechanics for changing direction
