Objectives
- Understand the importance of Angles in any Team Game
Material Needed
- Netaballs
- Bibs
- Cones
Set Up
- Teams of 5 players, corresponding to basic positions to Netball
- 2 End Zones, each team will have a player on the End Zone
- To score a point team, needs to pass the ball to their player in the End Zone
- After scoring in one End Zone, that team needs to score in the opposite area after.
-When a team regains possession of the ball, can score in any End Zone
Progressions
- Define only one area where each team can score
- Define positions for the players , in this game we can have a GoalKeeper, GoalDefender, Central, GoalAttacker and GoalScorer
Coaching Points
- Movement off the ball
- Being Ready to receive
- Some students will ask for the ball, but will stand behind a defender, explain why that isn't a valid option
- Triggers to appropriate passing technique
- Introduction to defender rule, of staying 1m away from the attacker with the ball
