Attacking midfield player then has 3 options.
.
Option 1 is a through pass to the second striker who is making a run into the space left by the first striker and who tries to shoot and score.
.
Option 2 is a through pass to the winger who has made a forward run down the touchline away from the defending player. The trigger to make his run will be the pass from the striker to the attacking midfield player. The winger crosses the ball into the box, the two strikers will make runs and the attacking midfield player will arrive on the edge of the area and the opposite winger will arrive round the back of the box.
.
Option 3 is a pass to the furthest wingers feet, who should be in space because their marker will have drifted inside/narrow. they then dribble down the wing and try and get a cross in. The strikers will make runs, the attacking midfield player will arrive on the edge of the box, and the opposite winger will arrive round the back of the box.
