'Big, Bad Bear'
- Grid 20x20
- Make two spaces that are approximately 3x3 big in 2 corners, called 'caves'
1. Each player has a ball and dribbles around the space
2. The coach is the Big, Bad Bear and is trying to steal the ball from the players
3. Players can't be caught if they run into a cave, but players are only allowed to stay in the cave for 5 seconds before they have to leave!
4. If a player is caught, they become a Baby Bear and try to help the Big Bad Bear. Baby Bears must always be growling!
Variations
1. Have players only use a designated foot (left, right)
2. Bears must all be holding hands while they try to capture the players

The Big Race
-Grid 20x20
-2 cones at the end of the grid.
1. On coaches command, the 3 players dribble the ball around the cone and dribble back to the start.
2. First player to get around the cone and back to the start wins!
Progressions/Variations
1. Have players split into 3 different colored teams, first team to win 3-5 races is the champion!

- Place cones/markers/shapes of various colors in random patterns around grid (Hurdles as well if available)
1. Player move around grid jogging
2. On coaches instruction, they run to certain color or shape and touch it with their foot (Coach directs to a certain color or shape)
Variations
A. Have players do different types of movements in place of jogging (bear crawls, skipping, hopping,
hopping on one foot)
B. Use animal movements ('run like a monkey, hop like a bunny, swim like a fish') in place of jogging
Progression
A. Have players jump over a hurdle prior to running to color/shape
B. Direct them to two colors (eg. 'Yellow-Blue), they must run to first color, touch it with their hand, then stop at 2nd color
