The 9 moves across and drops slightly to block the pass into midfield.
The whole team shift across the pitch (move as the ball moves) to remain compact - blocking passes and ready to press.

The back 4 need to be ready to drop if a longer ball over the top is played (open body shape, weight on back foot, arm length head start) and the GK needs a high starting position ready to sweep up.
