Instructions:
2v2 game. When ball crosses the endline the defending team drop out and a new team bring a new ball on from behind that goal. Player who scored/missed must touch the goal before rejoining the game again, leaving a 2v1 for the new team on to attempt to exploit.
Coaching Points:
- Close the space down quickly
- Aggressive
- Body shape to defend
- Delay or stick a tackle

Competition; First to 10 goals wins.

Set Up:
- 20x20 grid as shown above
- 2 teams, with lines in opposite corners as shown
Instructions:
- Defenders (Red) dribbles ball to line before passing and defending against (black) attacker. Attacker must score by dribbling through gate A or B. Switch out players after 3 minutes each.
Progressions:
1) Challenge your teammate with a pass in the air
2) Replace Gates A & B with goals.
3) Players now get 1 point if they score in goals A or B, and 3 points if they dribble through gate C
Coaching Points:
- Unbalance defender
- Change of Direction & then Speed (in that order)

Organization:
- Adapt the size of the are to the ability of the players
- 4 gates, 2 reds and 2 blues across the same color
- Minimun of 6 players divided in 2 teams
- 1 player in each gate, 2 players (diff team) in the middle
Instructions:
- Players are playing 1v1
- When a player in the middle connects a pass to his/her teammates he/she will take that spot and the receiving player dribbles in trying to beat the defender and play across to his teammate. If the defender wins the ball back rapidily transitions to attacker and tries to find the teammates in the gates.
-If after 4 transitions and the same defender is still in the middle, he/he can switch with another teammate.
Coaching Points:
- Positive first touch (control the ball, take it towards you are going, away from pressure, contact vs cushion on the ball)
- Closing the attacker and the ball (speed and angle of approach)
- Awarness of space
- Change of direstion

- Recognising numbers up (2v1) and exploiting it
- Committing the defender and either passing late to support or beating them yourself
- Runs and movement of the support player (must stay onside)

- Extra balls placed next to the goal.
Instructions:
- Focus on the center back movement (splitting wide to the edge of the 18 yard box to create room) for when the GK gets the ball for a goal-kick or ball is played back to them
- Looking to build out from zone 1 into zone 3 using back CB & CM

Organization:
- Set up enough grids to accommodate 7 players per grid
-Size and cone spacing varies on age and ability
Instructions:
You will need players at point A, C, E, and G. Player at point A will dribble to point B and then pass the pass to player at point C. After passing the ball Player A continues and takes vacant C spot. Player at point C will dribble to point D and then pass the pass to player at point E. After passing the ball Player from point C continues and takes vacant E spot. This will continue until player at point G receives the ball and dribbles back to the beginning.
1) Players will weave though the cones keeping as quickly as they can keeping the ball under control
2)More important to do the proper movement than going fast. Start slow and with time players will eventually get faster
Coaching Points:
-push ball with front of foot (laces)
-small quick steps (frequent touches)
-head up on occasion
