Passing and recieving (5 mins)
Themes & Competencies:
Dribble ,stop, run diagnal ,pass and follow.
Why use it:
working on dribble, stop,run thru traffic(awareness),pass and follow. work both feet
Set Up:
varies by age, ususally cones 7-8 yrds apart
How to Play:
dribble to cone, stop and leave the ball, run diagnal to next cone where ball is awaiting, pass and follow pass.
Coaching Points:
focus on proper techniques
Progressions:
adding ladder , if too many players, 12 and up , going thru different ladder movement on their way back.

Why use it:
work on dribble , stop, run and pass with left/right foot , depending on direction of rotation.

dribble to cone, stop and leave ball, run to right/left ,and pass with left/right foot(depending on direction of the rotation),follow pass.If too many player , going thtu ladder on their way back.

dribble,move at cone, pass and follow.
Why use it:
work on dirrent moves, passing and trapping.
Set Up:
varies by age, ususally cones 7-8 yrds apart
How to Play:
players dribble to cone, make move at cone to left/right(depeding on the direction of rotation), pass and follow.If too many players waiting on cones add ladder.

teach players/work on moves at cones, proper passing and trapping techniques.
