Objective
To improve a players ability to manipulate the ball
Organization
Set up as shown in digram
Player A passes the ball to player B
Player B uses different surfaces to manipulate the ball and turn
Then passes to player C. Then the pattern restarts.
Coaching Points
Check away then check back towards the ball to reveive
Head check
First touch into space
Second touch should be a pass
Progression
Player C becomes the defender as the ball is passed from player A, player B tries to turn and exit the square either behind or either side. Quick turn and change of speed.
Interval Duration
Players work in the middle for 1 minute then swap

Objective
To improve players passing ability
Organization
Set up as shown in a 20x30 area. Cones marking the middle and each end. Following the passing pattern 1-8 players are asked to play 1 & 2 touch where possible.
Coaching Points
Weight, timing, accuary.
Lock ankle, strike through middle of the ball
Receive on back foot in order to go forward
Weight of set pass
Interval Duration
3 minutes then change direction of the pattern to ensure players can working both feet.

Objective
To impove teams ability to keep possession of the ball
Organization
20x20 area with a triangle and each end
3 oranges work with the black team in order to keep possession. Orange players A & B are restricted within their zones, the shape of the zones should help them creating angels of support. Blue team is defending. If the blue team win possession of the ball they transition to the outside of the area and the black team become defenders.

Objective
To improve abilty to create and score in 2v1 situations
Organization
Set up as shown above. Oranges are defending and blues are attacking. The pattern is as follows
1 - Pass to Player A
2 - Turn
3 - Shot
4 - As the shot is taken one blue passes to the other, player A must transition to defender and defend the 2v1 to goal. The pattern contunies after the blues score or the defender win possession.
Coaching Points
Quality of pass, good first touch on the turn and shot on target.
Commiting the defender, using and 2 player combo and end product - cross or shot.
Interval Duration
Each team should attack for 3 minutes and defend for 3 minute. (2 sets each)

Objective
To improve players ABCs
Organization
Set up as shown in diagram
2 ladders, 4 pole, 4 cones and 2 balls
Players go through the ladder, around the pole, over the hurdles, around the other pole to the cone, where a team mate passes you the ball and you pass back, 1 left footed pass, one right footed pass.

Focus on Agility, balance and Cordination
