passing drill:
set up:
6 cones set up 3 side by side and 3 across the area
1 player on each cone
1 player in middle of each section
aims:
pass ball into middle player, who plays across to the waiting player. and back, every minute the missle player should swap.
key info:
passing player: get eye contact
pass through the middle of the ball
follow through with kicking action
player in middle: get eye contact with passer
recieve ball on back foot
body shape open
pass through middle of the ball to waiting player.
waiting player: get eye contact
eye on the ball once passed
think about part of the foot to control with
once controlled repeat action to return ball.
progression:
once pass is made middle player makes pass follows, plays a 1 -2 then swaps places.

4 goal game, 5v5
use skill practise session to bring int game, aim to score in either goal opposite your goals, 2 chances to score in goals. goals scored by running through the gates.
progression:
once team scores they retain possession and start to attack the opposite goals.
challeges: keep to 3 touch if too easy

30x30 area, 6 cones on the outside 2 "gates" in the centre.
1 player on each cone
1 player in each gate
4/6 players in maddle with ball.
aim is to pass to a player in gates who turn and look for another pass, or pass to player on cone who recieves and plays in to the area.
once a player plays a pass they must follow the pass and change places with the player receiving the ball
time 8-12 mins continuous work.
