Instructions: (1)
GK to do forward roll straight towards ball and finishing in the kneeling position, with leg that is off the ground he is to push off and dive on ball. (Both legs / sides to be used for push off)
Progression: Move ball further away making GK having to make a bigger push off
(2) C to place ball on ground and GK to move forward and dive on ball, GK then throws ball back to C who moves back and places ball again
Progression: GK making a mid catch from C
C bouncing ball & GK timing catch
C throws ball in air, GK to make an over head catch and go to ground
Coaching points: GK is using their leading leg to push off into the dive, always going forward, correct hand position when collecting ball, GK is landing on sides of body

Instructions:
GK to move through cones and (1) take a pass from C for a 2 touch return and then (2) a dive to save from a. ground b. mid
Progression: 2 saves progressing out. Long save forcing big push
Coaching points: Small fast steps is the key, moving effectivley through cones, watching ball and setting for return. Using leading leg to push. No skipping

3 GK's form a large triangle, ball to be passed around.
service: pass, roll, throw - c catch & volley, both sides
Progression: (1) Increase distance between GK's.
(2) GK's allowed to move
Coaching points: both feet getting used, GK watching ball all the time and adjusting body position, GK watching where he is passing ball, GK making catch properly, GK shouting for ball
