Organisation
- Set up 4 channels on the pitch as shown. Use as long an area as possible - full pitch is ideal
- Split players into 4 groups.
- Have a group positioned at A and C and B and D as shown.
- 1 x 40yd and 1 x 80yd run is 1 set. Complete 6 sets.
- Group A starts off by sprinting to middle and back then back to middle.
- When group A finish in the middle they jog up to the far end where they get ready for the next run
- When group A get to the middle and start their recovery run, group B sprint up to the far side, back to the start and into the middle. They will then jog up to far end and prepare for next run.
- Group C start when group B start their recovery run.
- Continue this until each group has done 6 sets (6 small runs and 6 big runs)
