Set up: 30 x 20 area split in half (half way line), two teams 5v5
Organisation: Teams play a regular game looking to score. Rule: If the defending team steal the ball in the attacking half and have all their players in the attacking half and score, the goal is worth 3. If they score but not all players are in the half, only 1 goal is awarded.
Coaching Points: Decision of when to press and when to drop. Pressing together (who, where, how?), speed of press. Can you win the ball back within 5 seconds of losing it?

Set up: 30x18 area with 5 yard end zones, 12 players split into teams 3
Organisation: Play starts with ball fed-in by coach to one team who proceed to attack opponents 3v3 & move the ball (under control) into opponents’ end zone to score.
Progression: Add 1 player on each side line to assist team in possession & increase potential to make wall-passes.
- Add T in opponent’s end zone to play into & receive a return pass before entering end zone: this increases need for D’s to consider screening passes to T.
Coaching Points: Decision of who to press, how to press, position of cover and support, working as a unit.
