See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Players face back to goal in a defensive stance: right foot in front of the left, slightly crouched, feet shoulder width apart, on the balls of their feet
Players shuffle diagonally back and to their left until they get to the white cone, they then switch their left foot to be forward, right back and shuffle to the other side.
Repeat 5x
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Defensive players are shaddowing only, not tackling
(discus that "tackling" means taking the ball)
Offensive players will dribble forward diagonally to the cone infront of the white cone, defender will shaddow with a shuffle step, apon reaching the other side they will move to the other side. When they are done they jog back to the beginning and switch positions.
Repeat 6 times, 3 times for both positions.
Always remember to teach why we do something not just how to do it.
In this case the shuffle step is use because crossing the legs/feet will leave the defender vulnerable to a quick change of direction. This is delaying defesive tactic and will be used thoughout a match

Defensive players are shaddowing only, not tackling
Defensive players will continue to delay the offensive player.
Offensive player can dribble with changes of speed & direction in order to push the defender to work hard at the shuffle step/defensive stanace.
No tackling or contact
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Full contact MUST WEAR GUARDS
Offensive player will try and beat the defender to the goal and score.
Defensive player must use the taught technique to delay the offensive player and will time their tackle for a miss touch or when they think they will have the best opportunity for success.
Repeat 6 times

During scrimamge watch for defensive technique.
If a defender dives prior to delaying they must run a lap around the JV & V boys field. Time their lap, subsiquent players who run a lap must beat that time or run 1 more.
Be hard on them, hold them to the delay shuffle step and only tackle when there is a mistep or blocking a shot or pass.
They cannot dive!
If one player continues to dive, pull them off to the side and demonstrate the proper technique again. Then film them in a 1v1 and show them with your phone or the ipad
