CK#1

  • Players 1- Ceci run past near post. Draw defenders-Flick-Dummy
  • Player 2-JJ should be in the six-yard box- prevent the goalkeeper from coming out to claim the ball by staying close to goal.
  • Players 3-6 line up behind each other starting at the penalty spot before peeling off and making runs into space when the ball is delivered in. The four players squeezed together make it very difficult for opposition defenders to know where each player will go due to all the movement that happens in a split-second. Players should look to run their defenders into other players to  lead to a numerical advantage on either the right or left side of the penalty spot.
  • Player 3 Alli is coming down middle to win ball.  Freedom to drift to win ball
  • Player 4 Lexi goes to near post behind #1 for flick
  • Player 5 AV back post run.  Finish run to back post unless you are winning ball.
  • Player 6 Gabby second back post run.  Anything that goes through 6 you are sending back across or scoring on anything over back post.
  • Player 7 Alyssa will be trailer or knock down if numbers allow
  • Player 8 and 9 Shannon and Hildur plan for the counter and steps to delay while teammates recover.
  • Player 10 Andrea service to near post- 6 yard box to PK spot with a driven ball.

CK#2

  • Players 1 Haylee should be in front of keeper. Will draw defenders and responsibility is to prevent the goalkeeper from coming out to claim the ball by staying close to goal. Careful not to foul. Attack any loose balls in 6 yard box or rebounds.
  • Players 2-5 line up straight across the PK spot around the penalty spot and make runs once the corner taker is about to put in the cross.
  • Player 2 Ari makes a run to near post run and can also flick on the ball if the delivery is too short.
  • Player 3 Sam makes a criss-crossing run with player 4 and goes towards back post. This draws the defenders to either side of the goal and opens up space directly in front of the keeper.
  • Player 4 MK makes a criss-crossing run with player 3 and goes towards near post.  This draws the defenders to either side of the goal and opens up space directly in front of the keeper.
  • Player 5 Quinn makes deeper run at the back post behind player 3 and can also challenge in the air if the cross goes too deep.  Send back across.
  • Player 6- Maci/Carrie is knock down, will stay top of box
  • Player 7 Kaya will come from deep position behind player 6 and attack the space cleared out by 4 runners.
  • Player 8 and 9 Blake and Alex plan for the counter and steps to delay while teammates recover. Front and back of opponent.  If other team has 2 front runners call back Carrie or Maci
  • Player 10 Carrie/Maci service to near post or top of 6 yard box-PK spot with a driven ball.
