Positioning game - BPO focus
Game commences with a 5 v 3 in one half
other half 5 BP team stay warm by playing ball between themselves
3 additional BPO on sideline also stay warm/ready can be passing ball between themselves
To start coach feeds ball into 5 v 3
5 BP players to get to 5 passes in 1st set, if the BPO intercept ball then play switches to other half and 3 BPO players on sideline move into to attempt to win ball, the three BPO players from starting half move out to sideline.
each time the BPO team win the ball play switches halves.
If BP team get to 5 passes after 1st set then a 4th BPO player from other half joins in
if BPO win posession lay switches back to 5 v 3 in other half

BPO Team Task
When the BP opposition has the ball BPO players to prevent them (BP) from playing out and win the ball back as quickly as possible.

Note for BP players to make it real, minimise lofted long balls, attempt to play out via passing
Coach Cues
in 5 v 3 can the 7 or 11 provide enough space to encourage the player with ball to attempt pass but then intercept or tackle player who is to receive.
speed of approach to player on the ball, slow down and get body in position to force play one way
communication between each BPO player supporting players provide instruction to BPO tam mate as to where they are and which way to force the play
in 5 v 4 can you make a 2 v 1 opportunity and win the ball
