The goalkeeper will recieve a service in each segment, in the order 1 -> 2.
This is a simple exercise designed to help the goalkeeper to move across the goal correctly, and postition right for the serves.
Segments 1 should always face a volley to catch.
Segment 2 can include a volley, a half volley, or a shot.

The GK faces the 1st server (outside the post)
The First server passes or throws the ball to the second server (the striker) who attempts to finish the ball into the net.
To make this section easier, the goalkeeper can be given a section of the goal to defend, and then increase the size of the section. For example, a cone or pole could be put in the centre of the goal so the goalkeeper has to deal with a near post shot from the striker.
To make the section harder, the striker can move closer to the goal.

The goalkeeper starts on the save position on the ground facing the striker (sever 2).
Server 1 (outside the post) throws the ball to server 2. Server 2 recieves the ball and hits a half volley towards the goal.
The goalkeeper can get off the floor and into position once server 1 has thrown the ball and the ball is in the air.

The GK touches the post and recieves a short dive from server 1.
The goalkeeper then recovers to recieve a shot to score from server 2.

Warm Up
In this drill the goalkeeper performs basic footwork to move from section to section. In each section the goalkeeper will perform a save.
As a simple warm up the goalkeeper can recieve volleys in all sections of the drill. For example, moving from centre -> to left, from left -> centre, from centre -> right, from right -> centre.
These can allbe be changed however, section 1 should always be a catch ie a W, cup, or scoop. This allows the side segments to become "active diving segments".
Side segments can include: dives to the far post, touching the far post before diving back across goal, or double saves as a combination.
