CBs: Would be nice if one is good with ball and one can play a long ball to forward players.
FBs: Need stamina. May be used as inverted FBs.
DMs: Physical players, tackle well. Quickly move ball between lines. 1 can play box-to-box, 1 can be the bridge / stay home.
MFs: Wide players - win 1v1s. Central / AM - be the play maker with passing, create overloads on strong side.
Striker: must be able to maintain possession, be willing to play false 9 and include wings in build up.

Objective is to break line of confrontation without giving away possession.
Center backs should look to play forward first (Wings / AM), then wide (OB), then centrally (DMs).
Once played we should decided if we want to play inside-outside (width option), forward backward (depth option), switch, or reset (if an option).
CDMs should be staggered / different lines, create an overload in attack.

If outside back on strong side pushes up on attack, outside wing should tuck inside into half space.
If Wing is wide, outside back should tuck in into half space and provide depth support to wing.

Both FBs can move up if CDMs stay back.
