Organization:
1. Two defenders next to goal, two attackers across area.
2. Defenders start with ball.
3. Three minute rounds.
Points:
1. Beat the defender without using scissors is 1 point.
2. Beat the defender with scissors or double scissors is 3 points.
3. If defender wins the ball is thier half and scores it's 1 point.
4. If defender wins the ball is the attacker's half and scores it's 2 points.
Instructions:
1. Defender passes to attacker. Attacker tries to beat defender using scissors.
2. Attacker scores by dribbling across the opposite line.
3. Switch lines after each turn.
4. If defender wins the ball in the opponents half and dribbles over the line they get two points. If defender win the the ball in their own half and scores they get one point.
5. Highest score moves up. Lowest score moves down.
Coaching Points:
1. Drive straight at the defender.
2. Judge the spped of the defender and determine how early to perform the scissors. (If defender is coming fast scissors must be done earlier)
3. Once defender is beat can you close the door by dribbling across them.
4. Step around the ball and plant hard to fake the touch in that direction. Take the ball away with the opposite foot.
5. If defender is standing waiting beat them with change of pace.

Instructions:
1. Player dribbles to end zone and stops the ball. Upon conceding possession the player sprints around goal before transitioning to defense by supporting 1st defender who has joined the play to protect the goal. The two attackers attempt to to score in opposition goal in a 2v1 scenario before the retreating defender can create a potential 2v2. One point for a goal scored as the attacking team and two points for the team with the retreating defender (i.e. transition to defend, win ball and score in counter goal). All goals must be scored in oppostion half.
Coaching Points:
Retreating Defender:
1. Mentality
2. Quick reactions
3. Cut off direct route to goal / shooting lane
4. Take shortest possible distance
5. Sprint in straight line
6. Apply immediate pressure
1st Defender:
1. Delay opposition attack - until 2v2
2. Cut off direct route to goal / shooting lane

Technical Reps (10 mins)
Organization:
1. 20x10 yard channel.
2. One channel per four players. Half on each side.
3. One ball per pair.
4. Four cones in the middle in a diamond representing defender's tackling radius.
Instructions:
Phase One: Messi touches
1. Messi touches approaching first cone, scissors, pass to the end, dynamic movement to the end. Both sides go at the same time. Eye contact.
-Dynamic movement to the end.
a. high knees
b. butt kicks
c. backpedal
d. defensive shuffle.
2. Right foot for 90 seconds. Left foot for 90 seconds.
Phase Two: Scissors
1. Both sides go at the same time. Eye contact.
2. Left foot scissors, rigth foot touch outside, breaking the half way line.
3. Once passed the defender(half), dribble behinde and close the door.
4. Leave the ball for the next player in line (takeover).
5. Two minutes change directions. (left foot scissors)
Coaching Points:
Scissors
1. Foot steps around the front of the ball to fake a touch in that direction.
2. Use shoulders and eyes to desguise the fake step.
3. Take the ball away with the opposite outside of the foot.
4. Angle of touch diagonally past defender.
5. Close the door by dribbling behind once past the defender.
Progressions:
1. Double scissor.
