Objective: Passing and Receiving; Combination and Give and Go's
Technical passing practice with the tactical concept of using width and depth and tactical actions such as Give and Go.
Organization:
- In a 20x20 yard area, we work in groups of 6-8 players. The four players inside start in the positions shown and we have 2 extra players outside. Each player follows their pass after their action is complet.
- Player A starts the excercise by passing out wide to Player B who moves off the cone and passes inside to Player C. Player C passes to Player D who moves off the cone and returns the ball straight back (one-two). Player C moves across and plays the ball into Player D's path who runs for the ball played into space and plays into GK hands or feet and progress to a shot on target.
Coaching Points:
-Create space before moving to meet the ball.
-The correct open body shape should be monitored.
-Change direction of the sequence to that the players pass and receive with both feet.
Interval Duration: 2 intervals x 5 minutes.

Possession Game
Organisation
* Player locked into zones at start.
* When blues are in possession they look to break lines to pass to the other group of blues, then same for the reds when they're in possession.
* Break a line = 1 point.
Progressions
* Team in possession can send 1 player into opponents zone to act as a wall player (1st line bounce pass) or as a wide player (2nd line pass).
* Team out of possession can send 1 player into opponents zone to press the ball, (closest player).
* If the team in possession can break the line twice succesfully they can turn and attack the two pop up goals, (3v3).
Equipment
* 16 x cones, 8 x disk markers, 12 x different colour disk markers, 4 x pop up goals, 6 x bibs, 6 x seperate colour bibs, supply of footballs.
Coaching Points
* Keep the ball moving, move the opposition with the ball to create opportunities to penetrate.
* Be patient.
* Make area as big as possible (width/length/depth).
* Support - angles/distances/timings of movement.
* Mobility - movement off ball/rotation, penetrating defence at speed.
* Creativity/improvisation.

Objective.building up play in btw lines
Organization ;red team - 3 defenders ,2 CM , 2 wingers ,1 forward .blue team 4 defenders n keeper. The ball starts with the defender who passes to a CM.THE cm dribbles into zone C and passes to 1 of the forwards creating a 5 v 4.
Coaching Points : players getting behind the defenders ( blind side ),quick control n pass of the ball,opening btw the oppposing line,crating an extra player ( numerical advantage )
