Objective: prepare for practice or match
Dynamic Stretches:
1. Legs apart bounce left, center right x 5
2. Calves 1, 2,3 switch 2x each leg
3. Knee to chest + Figure 4 with footwork in between 2x each
4. Quad stretch with footwork in between 2x each
5. Speed Skater with footwork in between 2x each
6. Spiderwoman/Rollback 4x each
7. Reverse RDL + Reverse Lunge + Overhead reach with twist 4 x each
8. Open/Close the gate 4x each
9. Lateral Lunge 2x each
10. Squat jumps 4x each
11. 1' minute free stretch.

Objective: Improve speed with and without the ball.
Organization: cones set-up 10 yards apart.
Instructions: on signal players sprint around the figure 8. After they understand the pattern add the ball. It should be a relay race.
Variations: (1) dribble then step on the ball and leave it in the middle, sprint around cone, return to middle get the ball and dribble around the starting cone. Repeat. Runs covered include (1) both feet dribbling, (2) right foot only, (3) left foot only.

Objective: to improve 1v1 attacking.
Organization: 10x15 yard grid. Two lines of players.
Instructions: attacking player with the ball dribbles out. Gets 2 point for going through small gate and 1 point for large gate. If defender wins it and crosses opposite line gets 2 points.
Variations: N/A

Objective: Improve our attacking shape get big and possession.
Organization: 20x30 yard grid with small-sided goals on each end.
Instructions: Players play 4v4 to goals.
Variations: if you want to add passing to this exercise give 1 point for dribbling across line and 2 points for passing it to teammate who runs into endzone and controls it inside the endzone.
Key Coaching Points:
1. When you win the ball get big
2. Create a diamond shape
3. Be patient and connect passes.

Warm-Up 4 (10 mins)
Objective: To improve ball control, touch, flexibility and awareness.
Organization: Players each with a ball 4 yards apart.
Instructions: On the coach's signal, players do different moves or touches as instructed by the coach for about 30-40 seconds.
Variations: (1) toe touches, (2) toe taps, (3) pull push going 90 degrees at a time, (4) step over turn 90 degrees etc...You can have players jogging in place inbetween signals or doing toe taps if appropriate for the move.
Key Coaching Points:
1. It is ok to start slowly until move is mastered;
2. Stay in formation don't drift;
3. Increase speed with comfort level;
4. Players should be bent a the knees good athletic position not upright like a statue;
5. Eyes up be aware of teammates and surroundings.
