Pass & Move Circle:
Big circle. Load of cones round circumference. Players between cones. Leave some gaps.
Initially players pass accross circle and follow the ball.
Then they pass accross circle and move to free space.
Coaching Points:
1. TOUCH - Do they take get in line of ball with open body and 1st touch moves way they want to pass?
2. PASS - Do they hit a quick/accurate pass with right weight & direction?
3. MOVE - Do they move quickly into free space to provide another passing opportunity/angle?
Progressions:
Lots of progressions could be introduced depending on how well they are doing.
- Introduce 2 balls - stretches the vision, communication and concentration.
- Short Pass/Long Pass sequences.
- 2 touch limit.
- Pass long accross circle, follow ball, get a lay off back, pass to next palyer, then find space.
- Add a defender or 2 and aim for splitting the defence.

4v4 Pass to Runner into End Zone Game:
30x20 pitch including 5 yard end zones.
4v4 in middle.
Aim: after a few passes (vary the number accordingly) in middle, players pass into target zone for a teammate to run on to.
Coaching Points:
1. PASS - Do they take a good 1st touch and make a quick/accurate pass?
2. MOVE - Do they quickly move forwards into space to provide another passing opportunity/angle?
3. POSITIVE RUNS - Do they make quick positive forward runs to receive the ball in the end zone?

Passing Angles:
8 cones laid out in octagon shape for 10 players (adjust for number of players you are working with).
Player on each cone and double up on start cone at least.
1. Start off simply passing the ball to next player - go round the shape a few times. Go clockwise and anti-clockwise.
2. Then do same but get players to follow their pass.
Coaching Points:
1. CHECK - do they check away from cone to make space to receive a pass?
2. TOUCH - Do they take get in line of ball with open body and 1st touch moves way they want to pass?
3. PASS - Do they hit a quick/accurate pass with right weight & direction?
Progressions:
1. Introduce the switch pass to other side of shape on coaches shout (could even use different colour cones and call out a colour that they have to pass to).
2. Maybe you could introduce 2 balls if all is going really well.

Further Progressions:
1. Long/Short: Player 1 passes long to player 3 who lays off short to player 2 who passes long to player 4.
2. 1-2: Player A passes to player B and makes an angled run inside so as to play a 1-2 with player 2 round the cone. Player 2 then does the same with player C.

4v4 SSG - 3 Pass & Shoot:
30x20 pitch including 2 goals.
4v4 in middle. Can play keepers too.
Aim: Pass & Move up the field quickly to create a scoring opportunity. Must have 3 passes before shooting.
Coaching Points:
1. PASS - Do they take a good 1st touch and make a quick/accurate passes?
2. MOVE - Do they quickly move forwards into space to provide another passing opportunity/angle?
3. POSITIVE RUNS - Do they make quick positive forward runs to receive the ball and score?

4v4 Passing Game (End Zone targets):

Aim: after a few passes (vary the number accordingly) in middle players pass to target player to score.
Target swaps with a team mate regularly.
Coaching Points:
1. SPACE - Do they find space and open body ready to receive a pass?
2. TOUCH - Do they get in line of ball and 1st touch goes the way they want to pass?
3. PASS & MOVE - Do they hit a quick/accurate pass and then move to provide another passing opportunity/angle?
