THE SESSION:30 X 30 Grid with players at each corner cone. Two players in the center of the grid facing outside lines on same half of grid. Players serve the ball from their hands in an attempt to play a poor quality bounce in front of the center player facing him. Receiving player must control the bounced pass, make a turn and play diagonally to the opposite corner from where the pass came. Other player in center creates obstacle (pressure) by being in passing lane, and a distraction behind player receiving. Not actively defending.Players follow their pass.
PROGRESSIONS:Limit touches before making pass to opposite player
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:Good footwork and body shape to receive the bad ball. Checking shoulders to find teammate to send pass across grid.

Setup:
2 teams (3 v 3 + 3)
25x20 grids
Activity:
Defenders attempt to win ball and play back into their grid.
Every succesful win of possession = 1 goal.
Coaching Points:
- When winning the ball, look to play the open player the way you face to get out of pressure
- 1-2 touch passess to relieve pressure
- Players off ball are moving quickly to find passing lanes and create width/depth

EQUIPMENT:
Cones, bibs and ball
SETUP:
Use the same setup as previous practice but make the two end zone into single areas by removing the middle cones. 1 player from each team are in each end zone, the rest of the players make two team in the main square.
PRACTICE:
The teams on the inside must keep possession of the ball, whilst the other team try and win the ball off them. To score a goal the team with the ball must pass to their player in the end zone. If the team keep passing to the same end zone then progress and insist they must pass to alternate end zones.
The defending player in the end zones must use screening techniques to stop the pass being made to the attacking teams player. The attacking teams player must now try and use feints and dummies to confuse the defende and make space for the pass.
If the ball goes out of play the team that kicked the ball out lose possession to the other team
5min game then swap players so everyone gets a turn in different positions
COACHING POINTS:

- Keep head up and be aware of where your team are and the opposition
- Look for space and attack space
- Make runs to create space for others
- End zone players be fluid and keep moving and try and use feints and dummies to create options for your team
